Trillium Arts has launched! Over the past two weeks, we hosted the first Asheville/Chicago Exchange (ACE) Dance Fellowships with Joshua Blake Carter and Vershawn Sanders-Ward. Each Fellow brought three dancers for a week in residence to develop new choreography.

On Friday, October 16, approximately 30 guests, Vershawn, Joshua, their dancers, plus three Asheville-area dancers – Melvin AC Howell, Vanessa Owen and Gavin Stewart – celebrated the launch at a COVID-safe party on the deck and lawn at Trillium. It was a glorious fall evening in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
