CORE VALUEs

The following core values infuse every aspect of the organization’s practices and decision-making. Trillium Arts:

·      Supports artistic inquiry and experimentation

·      Encourages dialogue between our guest artists and the local and regional community

·      Fosters collaboration between regional, national and international artists

·      Cultivates and nurtures regional partnerships and relationships

·      Believes that the natural environment influences creativity

·      Emphasizes process rather than product

·      Respects and admires freedom of expression to amplify the human experience

·      Embraces the slightly unexpected

·      Strives to provide authentic experiences

·      Commits to diversity, equity and inclusivity by providing equitable access to our programs and services that is inclusive and welcoming to everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, geography, sexual orientation, gender identity or socioeconomic status. We are a community-building organization committed to authentic engagement and nurturing support for artists of all styles, backgrounds and points of view. Trillium Arts pledges to support people of all abilities. Planning and construction for future facilities include ADA accessibility accommodations in order to further expand artist opportunities.

Trillium Arts acknowledges the Cherokee people. We are on territory where native Cherokee live, hunt, travel and steward. We appreciate the land welcoming and nurturing us to feel nature within us, and express gratitude for the care and knowledge of indigenous people.
